The DMS-AVC dynamic voltage regulation device uses power electronics technology. working principle

The DMS-AVC device is mainly composed of fast switches, bidirectional converters, and energy storage units. The working principle in case of voltage sag/rise/interruption in the power grid is as follows:
? When the system operates normally, the fast switch is in the closed state, and the load is powered by the power grid;
? When voltage sag/sag/interruption occurs in the system, the device can detect a fault at 500 sampling points per cycle, at 100us, and send instructions to the fast switch and bidirectional converter;
? The fast switch quickly disconnects after receiving a command, and the load is disconnected from the power grid;
? After receiving the command, the bidirectional converter establishes a rated output voltage of 200us and starts to supply power to the load, ensuring that the load is powered by the bidirectional converter after the fast switch is turned off;
? The entire compensation process of the DMS-AVC device is less than 2ms, and there is no impact on the load and power grid during the startup and shutdown processes;


The system voltage is within the limit: the load is powered by the grid.


When a system voltage sag occurs: the fast switch is disconnected, the load is disconnected from the power grid, and the AVC device directly supplies power.
The system voltage is restored to within the limit range: the fast switch is closed, the inverter is turned off, the load is powered by the system again, and the equipment rectifier circuit is used to charge and store energy for the capacitor.
